Changes in the secondary structure of highly polymeric DNA and CC[(GCC).sub.n]-type oligonucleotides under the action of steroid hormones and their complexes with apolipoprotein A I
Article Abstract:
The structural transitions that occur in eukaryotic DNA and the duplex CC(GCC)5.GG(CGG)5 upon their interaction with cortisol, tetrahydrocortisol (THC), and their apolipoprotein A I (ApoA-I) complexes are studied. The equilibrium kinetics of the interaction between the cortisol-ApoA-I and THC-ApoA-I complexes and the duplex CC(GCC)5.GG(CGG)5 are evaluated.

Effect of glycation on the structure and dynamics of DNA: A critical spectroscopic approach
Article Abstract:
The structural and dynamical differences between the normal and glycated human placenta DNA are examined by using agarose gel electrophoresis and photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS). The changes in the relaxation parameters of the glycated DNA have shown that the structure and dynamics of DNA are strongly affected by glycation at the molecular level.

Comparative measures of signal-wall carbon nanotube dispersion
Article Abstract:
Model composites of DNA-wrapped single-wall carbon nanotubes in poly(acrylic acid) are used to measure the metrics of single-wall carbon nanotube (SWNT) dispersion. The results have represented the first controlled comparison of the metrics for evaluating SWNT dispersion.
